Question:
What does ANN stand for?

Answer:
ANN is the acronym for AmericanNewsNetwork.com

Question:
Who created the website, and why?

Answer:
ANN was created by average Americans, for average Americans. A small group of us got to talking about how there are a lot of great conservative news websites, and many wonderful Christian resources too, but not one place in particular where we could find "the best of the best". In other words, no single conservative / Christian Internet "portal" website.

Also, the average American usually too busy working and raising a family - to spend a whole lot of time trying to find out what's going on in America and the world. So, we thought it would be a great idea if at least one website did that - from the conservative / Christian American perspective.

Basically, we just saw a need for such a website so we created AmericanNewsNetwork.com.

Question:
What's with the "radar screens"?

Answer:
While our NewsNavigators™ are designed to resemble radar screens, they are much more... a radar screen merely tells the observer, via 'blips' on the screen, where something is - clicking on our 'blips' - will actually take you there. NewsNavigator™ is our proprietary, interactive news and resources delivery system. It is designed to provide ready access to internet content of interest to the online conservative community.

Question:
When I click on some of the buttons, nothing happens. Why?

Answer:
This is usually because your browser or firewall security settings are preventing the radar screen from launching. The radar screens are actually Adobe Flash software based "movies", so you may need to adjust your browser or firewall settings - to enable Flash to play.

Question:
Some of the radar buttons on ANN do not work. Why?

Answer:
The website is new and still under construction, so please be patient. We are developing these functions as quickly as we can. Also, if you have suggestions for websites you would like us to include in the future, please click the "Contact Us" button on any page of the website. This will create a blank email for you to write in, which you can then send to us.

Question:
If I like what I see, and what you are trying to do, how can I help?

Answer:
We are currently in need of volunteers to help us locate and evaluate websites that are suitable for ANN. We are also in need of financial assistance to keep the website up and running. So, if you would like to - please donate whatever you can by using the 'Donations' button - or contact us by email at info@americannewsnetwork.com

Come back often, as we will be adding new features regularly.
